Description
The KR-9 SBR is a semi-automatic short-barreled rifle based on the Russian PP-19-01 vityaz submachine gun. This AK-style SBR has a small 9.25” barrel and works on closed bolt blowback operation. It is chambered in 9mm and feeds on 30-round and 10-round Kalashnikov USA™ magazines. It comes with a skeletonized vityaz style triangle folding stock and is compatible with standard AK parts and accessories.
This vityaz-based SBR is a highly reliable and rugged rifle with a lightweight and compact design. It is highly accurate and gives you the perfect shooting experience with a semi-automatic vityaz-style rifle. The KR-9 is an easily maneuverable rifle on every occasion.
- Ergonomics of an AK with the functionality of a vityaz, the KR9 SBR gives you the best of both firearm styles.
- It comes with highly durable steel-lined polymer magazines with a double-column, double-feed design used in the PPS-43 submachine gun.
- The triangle folding stock is another vityaz-style feature added to the KR9 SBR.
- The closed blowback design ensures added protection because it doesn’t fire unless the bolt is completely closed.
- It also comes with specially designed feed ramps to accommodate jacketed hollow point bullets.
If you do plan on purchasing the KR9-SBR, you as a user must do the following:
Under the NFA, the purchaser must work with their SOT dealer to complete a FORM 4 for transfer and obtain a Federal Tax Stamp. Once you purchase your tax stamp for your KR-9 SBR, you are then legally allowed to own it. Please be sure to comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
Please understand a factory-produced SBR can be legally purchased (where allowed). However, the wait time for processing and obtaining the required tax stamp varies and is currently taking up to 90 days with the new ATF E-File system.
